Colin Firth comes to Clapham

From his smouldering portrayal of Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, to his role as a hopelessly romantic writer in Love Actually, Colin Firth has been delivering well-crafted on-screen performances for decades. His latest film, The King’s Speech, is causing a stir at the box office, and many a Vauxhall estate agent will be excited to hear that the actor is heading to south London for a Q&A session about his new movie.

Colin Firth will be at the Clapham Picturehouse on Thursday 20th January, following a screening of The King’s Speech, a historical drama in which Firth portrays King George VI. The film will begin at 6:30 pm, after which the audience can enjoy a question-and-answer session with Colin Firth and director Tom Hooper. The star has already been awarded a Golden Globe for his role in The King’s Speech, and rumour has it the performance may also be Oscar material…

If you’re a Victoria estate agent, movie buff or celeb-spotter who likes the idea of getting a chance to interview the rather charming Colin Firth, but can’t make it to the Picturehouse, don’t despair – the pair will also be appearing at the Apple Store on Regent Street on the 20th. Firth and Hooper will appear at this unlikely venue from 6:30 to 7:30 pm before heading to their Clapham session. Seats are limited, so get there early!

Whether you’re in the West End or the south of London, this Thursday will offer you the chance to see Colin Firth and learn more about his latest award-winning performance. If you’re a fan, don’t miss this opportunity!
